Dealer took my new car to do the 10k required service. Kept my car for about a week and did nothing after asking why, they said they do not have EV mechanic. I asked them why they did not tell me that when I came in and they just said sorry. Wont take my car there any more.
Brad and Team were great, I actually missed a bunch of their phone calls, and they stayed on top of me! Highly recommend

They provide loaner car, which is very convenient, just need to better book it ahead… They also send you the video from the technician with all the explanation and demonstration of the recommended service before you agree on the work to be performed. Keep you informed and updated while the car is in service. Always professional and respectful. Highly recommend.
Extraordinarily horrible experience in dealing with this dealership. They don't do anything to remedy their issues as well. There was no other customers there on the last day of the month which should have been a red flag. The issues likely were not communicated with to management which likely part of the problem. They let me know how long they've been doing this which is why they felt they could take advantage of the situation. I did not receive the usual feedback that I am used to. I had to call to check if my car was ready for pick up. 6+ hours for an oil change… not the same experience as I have had during the last 10 years. A call to let me know if they are super busy or running late would be appreciated.
Went in to take care of a recall on my GTI. I wasn’t provided a loaner too.

The most important factor is that they honor their word: I called for a quote, arrived at the dealership, and received a different figure, yet they respected the earlier estimate. This builds substantial trust. The work was excellent, fast and professional. I look forward to returning there instead of choosing other locations.
Brought my car in with a low oil light. Brad had the car inspected- no issue/ leaks found- and oil topped off free of charge. *I had recently taken my car to a local/ no VW shop for oil change and suspect they didn't replace oil according to my cars specifications.
My assigned advisor James was late Brad covered for him and i think as a result it took almost 6 hrs to do the work needed. I was told it would be done by 12 instead it was done by 2. My appointment was 8:15a
The service I’m provided here at Capo VW is amazing. Greg has great customer service. I always book him when I make an appointment for my car. The overall customer service and pricing at this dealer is better than the others which is why I travel over an hour and a half for service each time.

Luke Herman, senior service advisor, goes above and beyond. My door panel was coming off and he personally got on the ground in his nice clothes and was able to snap the door back into place. I was in and out of there in 5 min. Give this man a raise!! Amazing customer service!

Great experience. The video was really nice to see the diesel fuel leak and what was needed to replace my ac valve. It helps to justify the costs. That and VW mechanics know how to work on VWs. I’m a customer of Capistrano VW and highly recommend them.

Capistrano Volkswagen took excellent care of me when I popped my tire and messed up my alignment. Starting with Brad in the department, his supervisor at the service department, and even the general manager, Gary. I am a single mom and they took amazing care of me and got everything fixed up so I can safely drive my kids around. Can’t recommend enough!
The appointment for the service was supposed to be an hour. It took five hours and the issue still unresolved as the vehicle still shows the oil change wasn’t performed on the car.
They ran into a bit of a problem but they got it resolved. Such is the life of electric cars.

Always friendly and helpful. This was a free service as I leased my vehicle from them, but on previous vehicles I paid less for oil changes here than at the big name in and out sites

Not good.....Kinda of unfortunate, used to have a really outstanding service dept. Maybe just caught them on an off day or need to hire more techs..Car sat for day and a half with no service, advisor was unsure of when a tech would be able to evaluate for timing belt. Decided to pick up and go to another mechanic. In defense of the dealer no service was completed so I cannot comment on quality of service tech. We have a more than five year relationship with Capistrano Volkswagen. Brad Johnson is our Service technician and we have found the sales staff and the technicians to be helpful in every way. Capo VW clearly goes the distance and out of its way with the highest quality service and fair prices.
This is one of the best dealerships I have ever worked with. Nick was a pleasure to work with, made everything so easy. From texting, emailing, and his quick responses overall. Chuck was so personable and made us feel right at home. You rarely get to work with dealerships who make everything so streamline and who don’t make things complicated. If I am ever in the market in the future for another car/VW I will definitely be returning. We are so happy with our Golf!

Brought in my new 2026 Jetta that I purchased for my son less than 2 months ago for an engine overheat error message. Had to tow the car to the dealer, at the servicing tech's recommendation. Capo VW had my car for a total of 10 days to replace the sensor. I didn't get a loaner car until the 6th day you had my car. Very poor customer experience, especially considering the car was brand new and recently purchased. Quite disappointing on how this issue was handled by your dealership.
Excellent inspection communication...could have been a bit better in keeping me informed about when my vehicle would be ready to pick up.
Cory and Brad in the Service Department are awesome - had an unfortunate experience at first and they turned it around completely, which is so appreciated. 5 stars because of them.

This dealership is a vibe. Everyone we encountered was cool, calm, and kind. No salesy pushes to make a deal before we were ready or music bumping so loud you can’t think straight (what we experienced at ALL 5 dealerships we visited prior the same day). We ended up buying a car when we thought we weren’t going to because we loved the car more than we anticipated and because the whole experience at Capistrano Vw was so delightful. To start and state the positive, I think it is great that they offer Uber drop off and pick up service to their customer.
