Got quoted $5600 for leaking water pump, coolant flush, serpentine belt and valve cover job. Asked for video of coolant and water pump leak. They said they lost it. My personal mechanic of over 30 yrs found no problem with coolant and pump, changing belt and valve cover gasket job for $950. Criminal and outrageous behavior.

I've always loved my Tiguan but when she's given me trouble Capistrano Volkswagen has been there to help. James at the service counter is superb! Twice I've been in for service and he's assisted me in a friendly and efficient manner making me feel like a priority. He's the best person to go to for assistance. No one likes when their car needs work done but I feel a lot of reassurance going here and knowing I trust the staff and that I'm driving away safely.

I wasn’t n expecting to buy a car yesterday, but I bought a car yesterday. Simply one of the most pleasant “car buying” experiences ever. There were no “faceless” teams or managers involved, just individual people who made it special and so personal. We dealt with a total of 3 people, a sales rep, a finance person and a person that made me sign stuff. That was it.

My salesman was Buddy. Asked me the usual sale stuff, but no big pressure. The dude's just overall enthusiastic and passionate at what he does. Got my Golf reserved on the website, Buddy kept me updated on delivery/prep of the car, and once I was at the dealership Buddy got me out of there within 2-3 hours. Best car dealership anywhere! I have bought a lot of cars and Capistrano Volkswagen is fantastic. Most of the other dealers wanted thousands of dollars over list. Another dealer said they don’t charge over list but added options that I didn’t want. Capistrano Volkswagen charged MSRP and didn’t add extras. Chuck, Nick, Kevin and Miles all make you feel like family. Looking forward to driving my bus!

He took his time to show us every car we were interested in test driving. The whole process was smooth until the financing department took over and took an hour and a half to and try to add on every little warranty but we figured it at the end 🙂

Worked with Joey to secure a new ID.4. From the very beginning everything went perfectly, so much so i kept contacting to make sure that there wasn't anything I was missing. This is my 26th vehicle and have had all kinds of experiences, but nothing has surpassed this. Vehicle was ready when we got there and paperwork was seamless and efficient. From the time we parked to the time we drove out in our new car was 64 minutes. Never been in and out that quick ever. Really appreciate everything.

Overall a good experience in the Service Dept. My Service Advisor Zander is excellent. A very honest and helpful advisor. My situation was unique in that I was bringing a 2014 vehicle in for third party warranty work, and those are not easy contracts to work with, but the dealer was willing to. As with any dealer, you want to weigh their recommendations for additional or preventative against true need or risk. I appreciate the recall work performed on my vehicles. However, I would suggest reconsidering the approach to recommending the additional services, as they often seem overpriced and inflated. Using guilt-based tactics to encourage these services does not create a positive impression.

Our Service Advisor, Brad, and Service Technician, Ron, were both knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter’s car got scheduled maintenance and special treatment for other issues identified by Ron. We purchase a lot of VW's. As a family and business well over 200 vehicles over the past 12 years. Only one from Capo. They were sleazy, dishonest &, the owners were just as bad if not worse as the shapers of workforce culture. We tried their service one time and they were even worse. Upselling unnecessary work, charging more than the estimate given without approval. Capo VW is literally less than 3 miles from my residence and business and I highly recommend staying away from this business. There are tons of better options.

I had to reach out to Volkswagen America myself, and only then did Capo follow up with the necessary repairs.
