We have a Boss is Gone Event (and the boss is really gone!). We do all sorts of fun things like themed days (including favorite sports team day, 80s day and even shorts day), bring in food trucks and ice cream, and wear our special Boss is Gone shirts.
We have special events at the dealership and invite all the employees to attend. One event we did was a movie premier of “Circle the Wagen” (a movie about a road trip in a VW across the country). We served food, drinks and movie treats and had over 400 people attend. We also had a large group of vintage VW owners who brought their classic VW and had them prominently displayed in front of the dealership.
In 2022, we partnered with Buses by the Beach and hosted the first-ever air-cooled VW dealership takeover. Over 600 people attended to see the 146 air-cooled VW vehicles on display. Bill Walton was in attendance as well for a meet and greet opportunity in our showroom.
