The ID.4 has all your favorite features and then some. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and a Wi-Fi hotspot are standard, all of which are controlled from a 12-inch touchscreen. The ID.Light system notifies you with an interior lighting system (and audio cues) of incoming calls, charge levels, and more. There's also the automatic ignition, where the new ID.4 starts itself as soon as you sit in the driver’s seat.

Safety

The VW ID.4 has all the features you need to stay safe on the road. It has the IQ.DRIVE semi-autonomous driving suite, which includes lane keeping assist, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking and pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, emergency assist, and travel assist.

Performance

The ID.4 comes in two forms: RWD with single electric motor or AWD with two electric motors. The RWD single-motor ID.4 models produce 201 horsepower, while the AWD dual-motor models produce 302 horses. The ID.4 features a 82-kWh battery pack that gives it up to a 275-mile range. The ID.4 is EPA-estimated at 104-city/89-highway MPGe.
