The 2021 Atlas has a lot of options to keep you connected during your commute. Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth are standard, as are a 6.5-inch touchscreen and an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot. Other convenient features you may appreciate include remote keyless entry, heated side mirrors, and LED headlights. Many options and upgrades are available, such as an 8.0-inch touchscreen, leather upholstery, second-row captain’s chairs, and a panoramic sunroof, among many others.
Safety is the name of the game on the 2021 Atlas. Standard safety features include forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rain-sensing automatic wipers, and a rearview camera. There are many available features as well, such as hands-free parallel parking assist, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view parking camera system, and traffic jam assist.
The 2021 Atlas has two engine options to choose from. One available engine is the 2.0-liter turbo-four. It produces 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. FWD model with this engine get 21-city/24-highway mpg; AWD models get 20-city/24-highway mpg. The other engine option is a 3.6-liter V6. It pumps out 276 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. FWD V6 models are rated at 17-city/23-highway mpg; AWD models are estimated at 16-city/22-highway mpg. No matter the engine, the 2021 Atlas has an eight-speed automatic transmission.
