Volkswagen Announces ID.4 Crossover EV for USA
With California being an early adopter of EV technology, it’s natural to wonder when we’ll be getting more robust line-ups to choose from. VW has pledged to make a full EV lineup, but the US hasn’t seen any VW EV models yet.
So, will the US be getting a VW electric vehicle?
VW ID.4 Details and Specs
Not a lot has been revealed, but the 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 is expected to hit sales lots late-2020/early-2021. The first models will only be RWD, but AWD is planned for later release. It is estimated to have a 310-mile range. US ID.4 model production is slated for the Chattanooga, TN facility. See the official VW press release here.
