Performance Specs
As previously mentioned, the 2021 Volkswagen Jetta is available with two different powertrains: a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The 1.4-liter engine produces 147 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The engine is either paired with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic. The GLI-only 2.0-liter engine produces 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. It can also be paired with a six-speed manual or a special seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. All Jetta and Jetta GLI trims are FWD.
