New Features on the 2020 Jetta
Unlike other auto manufacturers, Volkswagen doesn’t release its new model year’s lineup halfway through the prior year. That makes the release of the new models a little more special in our opinion. Take, for instance, the new 2020 Jetta that just dropped.
So, now that the new Jetta is available, you may be wondering what’s changed on it? Well, let’s take a look at…
What new on the 2020 VW Jetta.
New Additional Features
The 2020 Volkswagen Jetta has a number of new features added for the new model year. Every Jetta now has a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and a 6.5-inch touchscreen. The hotspot requires a monthly, no-commitment subscription from Verizon, though other providers are planned for the future. The SEL trim gains the Cold Weather package. Similarly, the SEL and SEL Premium trims also receive wireless device charging capability. New available features include lane departure warning, lane keep assist, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats.
The 2020 Jetta comes in five different trims and has a wide range of prices.
- S – $18,895
- SE – $22,645
- R-Line – $22,695
- SEL – $25,995
- SEL Premium – $27,945
Each trim has the 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. More powerful engines are available on the 2020 Jetta GLI. Each Jetta comes with either a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. Every model will also have the newly revamped Volkswagen Car-Net®, which is complimentary for five years, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
