The 2019 Volkswagen Arteon — which made its American debut at last’s months Chicago Auto Show — is a wonderful addition to the Volkswagen lineup. For a sportier look, Volkswagen is offering an R-Line Appearance Package for the 2019 Arteon.

2019 VW Arteon R-Line Appearance Package Design Features
The R-Line Appearance Package was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show. It includes a number of exclusive design features. Exterior highlights include a choice of uniquely-designed 19- or 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a gloss black rear spoiler, R-Line air inlets and cover panels, air intakes in a gloss black finish, and R-Line badging.
The exclusive styling continues into the cabin of the VW Arteon. This includes metallic décor pieces, stainless-steel sport pedal covers and door sills, black headliner, and contrast sticking on the shift knob and steering wheel. Also, the Arteon features the R-Line logo on the door sills and the start screen of the MIB II infotainment system.

2019 VW Arteon R-Line Performance Features
Like the rest of the VW Arteon models, the VW Arteon with the R-Line Appearance Package will be powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged TSI engine. Mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, it delivers an impressive 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Also, for all-weather traction, the Arteon offers the optional 4Motion all-wheel-drive system.
All 2019 VW Arteon models, including those with the R-Line Appearance Package, will go on sale during the fall of 2018. The R-Line Appearance Package is offered for every Arteon trim level.
