New Features in 2017 Jetta S
If you place a top priority on affordability, then the base Jetta S is the best choice. For 2017, it adds 16-inch steel wheels as standard, along with a rearview camera, LED DRLs and two-tone cloth seats, with the option of 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and a cold weather package (heatable washer nozzles and front seats).
New Features in 2017 Jetta SE, SEL and SEL Premium
With a pleasing balance of affordability and premium features, the midline Jetta SE is the next level in the Jetta trim lineup. It adds VW Car-Net connectivity, sunroof, LED DRLs, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter knob, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert and V-Tex leatherette seating surfaces with rear pass-through functionality.
The SEL trim benefits from the addition of a power driver’s seat, LED DRLs, exterior chrome accents, Climatronic automatic dual-zone climate control, Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking and Adaptive Cruise Control. The Jetta GLI, available only in the high-value SE trim, comes with standard 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, LED DRLs, navigation system, power driver’s seat, Park Distance Control, the Fender Premium Audio System and Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert.
