New performance-based features included with the 2016 Volkswagen Jetta GLI
Volkswagen of America recently unveiled the 2016 Volkswagen Jetta GLI. The GLI will be the sedan counterpart of the Golf GTI. To ensure that it stands up to the expectations, the 2016 Jetta GLI will be more power and performance-based than its 2015 predecessor, featuring a new engine that offers more horsepower and torque.
A bold new engine with a bold look
The 2016 Jetta GLI is equipped with a sport suspension that is specially tuned for a more powerful ride. This version of the Jetta comes with the same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder TSI turbocharged engine that is found in the 2015 Volkswagen Golf GTI. This new direct-injection engine allows the Jetta to make an exciting 210 horsepower.
In addition to its new engine, the 2016 Jetta has received new styling, showing off a new, aggressive look. The grille has a new honey-comb styling and the fog lights also have been restyled during the makeover. Two chrome-tipped exhaust pipes have been added to the rear bumper for a nice update. Drivers will also appreciate the upgrade to 18-inch Mallory aluminum-alloy wheels, which come standard with the 2016 Volkswagen Jetta GLI.
Added luxury in the interior
The interior of the 2016 Jetta has also received an update. With the new Jetta, drivers will appreciate the new MIB 2 infotainment system which features Car-Net and USB connectivity. The fully equipped SE model comes with keyless access and push-button start and LED tail lights for added accessibility. Your drive will also be comfortable thanks to Climatronic® automatic dual-zone climate control.
Drivers will also be impressed by the new features added to this year’s model. These features include a rearview camera, rear Park Distance Control and an award-winning Fender® Premium Audio system. Rain sensing wipers, automatic headlights and six-way adjustable heated front seats are also among the optional features.

New upscale features
