New 2020 Atlas Cross Sport Details Revealed

The Volkswagen Atlas is an industry leader in the SUV market. With fantastic performance, generous cargo space, and spacious three-row seating, its no wonder that people look to it as something that sets the bar.

However, if you follow Volkswagen at all, then you’ll know that they like to do performance and racing variants of their vehicles. With custom off-road versions of the Atlas showing up at SEMA 2018 and 2019, enthusiasts have been anticipating a sort of R-Line version of the Atlas. Volkswagen did us one better.

The restoration is the result of a three-year endeavor by artist Dr. Bob Hieronimus, who painted the original Light Bus and Canadian documentarian John Wesley Chisholm, along with help from Volkswagen Group of America.
