2019 VW Jetta Release Date, Design Changes and New Features
Yesterday at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the redesigned 2019 VW Jetta made its world debut. It has numerous upgrades and changes, including a bolder new look, more interior space and new technology features.
The release date of the 2019 VW Jetta is expected to be in the spring of 2018. The pricing of the 2019 Jetta will start at $18,545, which is even less than the 2017 model.
Design Changes of 2019 VW Jetta
The 2019 Jetta incorporates Volkswagen’s Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) architecture that’s already utilized in many of the other VW models. The new Jetta is bigger, with an extra 1.3-inches of wheelbase compared to the outgoing model, resulting in more interior space. The sharp lines and large grille give the 2019 Jetta a bolder and more refined look, while the sloped roofline adds an element of sportiness. The beautiful styling continues to the redesigned cabin, with new high-quality materials and the option for the 10-color customizable wrap-around ambient lighting.
