What’s new for the 2019 VW Golf SportWagen?
The 2019 VW Golf SportWagen is primarily a carryover model, but there are multiple upgrades across the trim lineup. The S and S 4Motion grades offer a newly available Driving Assistance Package. Features include Blind Spot Monitor, Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Monitoring, and Rear Traffic Alert. The top-of-the-line SE grade adds High Beam Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, the Adaptive Front-lighting System, 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, and fog lights.

The S grade is powered by the new 1.4-liter four-cylinder EA211 TSI engine, which delivers 147 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. All of the other Golf SportWagen models come equipped with the turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder EA888 TSI engine, which doles out 168 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque.
