Volkswagen introduced an outstanding new full-size SUV to its model lineup this year — the 2018 VW Atlas, which delivers a pleasing blend of spaciousness, utility, off-road performance, safety and technological sophistication. Already the winner of numerous automotive awards, the Atlas just added another — the Cars.com Best Three-Row SUV of 2017 award.
For the Cars.com Three-Row SUV Challenge, the VW Atlas was rated on many different parameters, including interior quality, seat comfort, cargo capacity, multimedia features, performance and value. The VW Atlas faced heated competition from other three-row SUV models, including the Chevy Traverse, Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander, but it ultimately came out on top. The experts at Cars.com were especially impressed with the Atlas’ driving characteristics, user-friendly technology and generous amount of room for both people and cargo.
