2017 Discovery Channel Shark Week & 2018 VW Atlas “Land of Sharks”
Discovery Chanel just kicked off the 2017 edition of the annual Shark Week, with an engaging assortment of shark-based programming. For the 6th consecutive year, Volkswagen is a Shark Week sponsor.
2018 VW Atlas “Land of Sharks” Cross Country Journey
This year, Volkswagen is adding an interesting twist to their Shark Week sponsorship with the “Land of Sharks” campaign. It’s a unique look at oceans of the past with a cross country journey in the all-new 2018 VW Atlas. It includes a short video series to tell the story of a family on a road trip in the Atlas as they travel to various locations to learn about prehistoric sharks that once swam there. The three 60-second spots display the family visiting an archaeological site, traveling to a research lab and finally driving in an Atlas to dive with modern sharks.
“Land of Sharks” also features a unique online element with an interactive website: www.LandofSharks.com. The site enables you to explore the depths of your neighborhood alongside ancient sharks through an immersive “underwater” Google street view experience.

What is the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas?
